SITGES PITCHBOX Feature Films
SITGES FILM FESTIVAL
For the seventh consecutive year, the Filmarket Hub platform and Festival de Sitges come together to organize Sitges Pitchbox, an international pitching event focused on feature films and series in development of horror, science fiction or fantasy. Seven feature films and five European series have been selected. Those responsible for these projects will have the opportunity to make a seven-minute pitch and then have one-to-one meetings with the participating companies. Additionally, four cash prizes will be allocated for development expenditure. Participant companies include: XYZ Films, Wild Bunch, Exile Content Studio, Globalgate Entertainment, Red Arrow Studios, The Mediapro Studio, Showrunner Films, and more.
- Prize for Best Featured Feature: 5,000 € (VAT included)
- Prize for both finalist feature films: 1,000 € per project (VAT included)
- Prize for best series: 2,500 € (VAT included)
The Sitges Pitchbox programming is divided into the following blocks: Scripted Series, Feature Films and this year’s novelty, Showrunners Lab, in collaboration with Europa Creativa Desk – MEDIA Catalunya, an introductory seminar and advice on the figure of the showrunner through the presentation and analysis of three models: North American, Scandinavian and Spanish.
